Israel & the World
This seminar will examine the interaction between Israel and the international community–a topic always timely but perhaps particularly timely now. Seminar will begin in the prestate period, examining what would become Israel’s interactions with both the European and Arab worlds; continue through the Cold War; and then culminate with the aftermath of October 7. Focus will be not just on U.S.-Israeli relations but also on interactions between Israel and Europe, Arab nations, Asia, and (to a lesser extant) Africa.
As always, 10-15 minutes at the end for contemporary issues and then Q&A.
